Tata Tea Kanan Devan Strong - Desi Review
Chai Review
**Name:** Tata Tea Kanan Devan Strong
**Manufacturer:** Tata
**Type:** Black Tea
**Tea Leaves Aroma:** Slight
**Price:** $5.99 for a 14oz bag at Patidar
**Verdict:** Average, tasted similar to Tata Agni
Tata Tea Kanan Devan Strong is a robust tea crafted from tea leaves cultivated in the Kannan Devan hills in Munnar, Kerala. Alongside the Strong variant, Tata Tea offers a Classic version of Kanan Devan and a premium leaf known as Tata Tea Golden Leaf.
**Review:**The tea exhibited a resemblance to Tata Agni, presenting a milky color in its chai. Achieving the desired orange hue required some time. Upon opening the tea bag, I observed a lack of noticeable aroma, with the tea leaves being small and fine. Achieving the desired flavor necessitated prolonged boiling. The quality left me unimpressed, as it seemed akin to a repackaged version of Tata Agni Strong, which is considerably more affordable than Kanan Devan Strong.
Consumed on its own without additions, the chai had a milky taste. Experimenting with the addition of ginger (Adrak) marginally improved the flavor, but the absence of a distinct aroma persisted. Eventually, mixing it with Masala Tea powder enhanced the experience.
**Would I buy it again? – No, it was not worth it.**We welcome your comments and suggestions; please feel free to leave them below, especially if you have tried this product.
